Saint Mateo’s party in Logrono is during one week including the 21st of september, feast day of the apostle. These are very popular parties whose origins date back to the twelfth century and which, since 1956, have been nicknamed the Festival of the Grape Harvest because of the proximity of the dates of the grape harvest, in a country marked by wine.
